Our client is a For Profit Healthcare System, including 6 hospitals and approximately 150 clinic locations. They seek an experienced Regional Director of Engineering and Maintenance. This position is responsible for leading the operations of all engineering, maintenance, facilities, and internal construction services. Responsibilities include financial performance and reporting, human resource management, safety, quality, and planning. 


 This is the top level facilities position, responsible for the direction of high quality and cost-effective maintenance and engineering services. Work situations are varied and require a high level of managerial leadership, analysis, independent decision-making, discretion, good judgment, and organization. Internal contacts are at all levels and require the establishing rapport and developing strong working relationships. External contacts include outside organizations, vendors, contractors, governmental and regulatory agencies, and consultants.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) is required.

  • 8+ years of technical and engineering experience in an integrated healthcare system.

  • ​5+ years of management or supervisory experience with budget responsibility in a hospital setting

  • Must have the mindset of a Healthcare Executive.

  • Knowledge of the principles of facilities management in order to effectively analyze data and make decisions

  • Knowledge of regulations affecting healthcare facilities
