SQL Server DBA

Location: Greensboro, NC

  • Salary in the $95,000 range

This position Involves the Following Responsibilities:

  • Deploy new databases and database changes to support application changes
  • Deploy and support reports for internal customers utilizing MS SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Responsible for providing SME database technology support that addresses production incidents in a timely manner 
  • Production incident support, including after hours and on-call support as required
  • Provide 3rd party application support with relation to databases - testing and implementation support


Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

  • Five to seven years of Database Administration experience in a SQL Server Enterprise environment utilizing high availability/disaster recover features
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high demand and fast-paced environment as a member of the DBA group 
  • Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational, follow-up and analytical skills
  • Ability to think tactically, identify significant success factors and execute them effectively
  • Excellent writing skills with experience in procedures
  • SQL Server 2008 Enterprise (or later) Database Administration in a cluster environment
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience working with and tuning VLDB SQL Databases
