Clinical Nurse Managers- PCU/Mixed Acuity Units & Inpatient Oncology

Job description:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction. The clinical manager of the nursing department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated nursing director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program

  • Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky

  • 5+ years of nursing experience in an academic medical center hospital setting

  • 3+ years of nursing leadership experience in an academic medical center hospital setting

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
