Job description:

Administers the daily radiation treatment as prescribed by the radiation oncologist for patients of all ages and planned by physics staff; support to include simulation of patients to procure pertinent information for dose calculation and verification filming, patient dosage and possible side effects from radiation treatment, quality control procedures, and patient scheduling and charging. The RT reports to Department Director. There are no subordinates who report directly to the staff RT; however, when in charge, responsible for supervising and giving work direction to other unit personnel.

Qualifications:

  • LICENSED AS A RADIATION THERAPIST WITH ARRT AND TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (TDH) LICENSE (GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED RADIATION THERAPY SCHOOL)

  • BLS

  • 1 YEAR'S EXPERIENCE IN RADIATION THERAPY
