Your expertise in robotics and automation engineering will drive our efforts in implementing cutting-edge automated systems and troubleshooting control issues, fostering operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Leadership: Spearhead the automation of applicable manufacturing and packaging processes, ensuring projects deliver on objectives and ROI justifications.

  • Project Management: Identify, develop, and lead automation projects from inception to completion. Manage procurement of components and select vendors for system installation and support.

  • Systems Development & Troubleshooting: Develop new PLC control systems and troubleshoot existing control systems, including wiring and PLC/SCADA logic. Maintain configuration control of PLC source code.

  • Integration & Quality Improvement: Integrate hardware and software components such as robots, sensors, and vision systems. Implement quality improvement initiatives through strategic automation.

  • Compliance & Documentation: Design industrial electrical control panels adhering to compliance standards and create essential documentation.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely across departments and with the engineering team to drive continuous improvement and offer controls engineering support.

Qualifications

  • Robust Experience: Solid background in Robotics and Automation Engineering with strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred).

  • Industry Experience: 2-4 years of experience as an Automation/Controls Engineer in a regulated industry, with experience in a cGMP facility being highly advantageous.

  • Technical & Soft Skills: Excellent diagnostic skills, mechanical aptitude, and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated capability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively across departments.
