This is a direct hire role.
Our client has a need for a Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to help manage financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. This FP&A Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance and other senior managers. This role will is a unique opportunity to be involved with every aspect of the business and provide continuous access to executive management. Will report to the Director of Finance.
Identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and to drive/influence management decisions.
Prepare and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management and regional management
Build and maintain effective business partnerships within and across organizations
Develop and improve upon financial planning processes ensuring transparency of planning assumptions and actual performance to the functional areas
Prepare variance analysis to identify and explain variances to budget
Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis
Respond to P&L inquiries from budget owners
Participate in M&A activities
Update and track key operating indicators
Who Will Be a Great Fit?
6+ years FP&A experience, either supporting a business unit or in a corporate FP&A organization
Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial statements and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
Ability to develop and update complex financial models
Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
Understanding of accounting concepts (revenue recognition concepts, expense timing, capitalization policies, etc.)
Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
Demonstrated leadership in strategy development
Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally
Strong Excel experience (pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc.) and Hyperion experience
Manufacturing or distribution industry experience would be a plus.
