Our client is a medical device startup developing an innovative, sophisticated, and superior approach to the rapid cessation of bleeding. They need a Project Manager who is responsible for managing projects and coordinating activities that help achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations that support the development of existing and new product development programs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting and forming project teams
  • Excellence in managing project execution and risk to achieve objectives and goals
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot challenges, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies
  • Strong budgeting and problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to produce clear status updates, specifications, protocols and reports
  • Goal-oriented, self-directed, needs little direction
  • Excellent time management skills and proven history of consistently completing projects on time
  • Commitment to work with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment
  • Commitment to collaborate as a strong team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to gather, integrate, simplify, and explain information from multiple sources
  • Ability to influence individuals at all levels in different departments, including senior executives
  • Highly committed, flexible, self-motivated, self-confident, assertive, and tolerant of ambiguity
  • Strong leadership skills to drive projects to completion through active interaction with appropriate functional managers, staff, and vendors

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

  • Medical device background required
  • 9+ years in product development with 5+ years in project management
  • Understanding of design controls, quality system, safety regulations, and risk management
  • PMP certification
  • Successfully led product development and enhancement projects through regulatory approval
  • Project Planning Software, Microsoft Office Suite
