Key Responsibilities:

  • Operative Procedure Assistance: Play a critical role in surgical procedures by assisting the surgical team, ensuring the arrangement and inventory of sterile setups for operations, and facilitating the proper handling of equipment and tools as needed.

  • Patient Care: Participate in preparing and moving patients as well as cleaning the operating rooms post-procedure, prioritizing patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.

  • Certification: Active BLS Certification. Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred or must meet state guidelines for exemption.

  • Experience: At least 1+ to 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. Open to candidates with experience in any specialty, with specific interest in those experienced in cardiac surgery.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and empathy towards patients and colleagues.
