Radiology Technologist

Are you a skilled Radiology Technologist seeking a rewarding opportunity in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of New York State? This contract position offers competitive compensation based on experience, with hours from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, including rotating call nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical radiographic assignments with accuracy and precision.

  • Operate radiographic equipment and image processors, ensuring image quality meets procedure guidelines.

  • Maintain proper radiation protection for self, patients, and personnel.

  • Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call duties as needed.

  • Utilize Radiology Information System (RIS) for patient data entry and image processing.

  • Administer contrast media and recognize emergency situations, taking appropriate action.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification and OR C-Arm experience required.

  • Ability to provide care to patients of all ages, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

  • Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is expected.
