Position: Emergency Department Nurse Manager
Location: Geneva, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 Hours/Day, with availability required for issues after hours and on weekends
Compensation: $73 - $83 per hour, Competitive CompensationKey Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of strategies to maintain the highest levels of quality, patient safety, and patient experience.
Creation of a supportive environment that encourages staff growth, empowerment, and adherence to best nursing practices.
Efficient and responsible management of resources to ensure economic delivery of nursing care.
Facilitation of interdisciplinary teamwork and communication to ensure coordinated patient care.
Active participation in the recruitment, selection, and retention of staff, including their training and ongoing professional development.
Oversight of the Emergency Department, SSH Clinical Leaders, and the Medic 55 ALS Program.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of acute hospital emergency room experience as a registered professional nurse.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
A current New York State Nursing License.
Required Certifications:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS/ENPC (Pediatric Advanced Life Support/Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
Basic Coronary Care
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a commitment to developing a team-oriented culture.
