The NP/PA/Hospital Physician will be involved in clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research. The clinical portion of this role will require an increased level of accountability, including managing a cohort of high-acuity patients. The Front Line Ordering Clinician NP/PA/Hospital Physician may also be required to utilize invasive interventions and procedures to promote physiologic stability. Additional responsibilities include rotating off-shift coverage, which includes nights, weekends and holidays determined by the clinical needs of the practice environment. The NP/PA/Hospital Physician will also collaborate with teams from specialties including heart failure and transplantation, pulmonary and lung transplantation, cardiac anesthesia, electrophysiology, and cardiac intervention. Our patients include neonates, infants, children and young adults who have complex congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease and lung disease who need intensive medical and surgical management. Our surgical patients include those who have received complex congenital heart surgical palliations, heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist devices and extracorporeal support.



Who Will Be a Great Fit?

  • National board certification in the area of education/specialty

  • Pennsylvania RN, CRNP and prescriptive authority licenses prior to hire
