Job Description

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, clinically strong candidates to complement our expanding group of CRNAs (team of 5 when fully hired) dedicated to Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia, working in a team environment. We offer our CRNAs a unique experience taking care of children of all ages undergoing cutting edge procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratories, imaging studies, as well as open heart procedures with cardiopulmonary bypass. We provide extensive training for new graduates, challenging cases for experienced providers as well as opportunities for career development, including strong mentorship for successfully completing projects to attain doctoral degrees. As part of a larger APN team, our CRNAs are instrumental in providing safe clinical care and participate in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Master’s or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia

Board certification, or eligible upon graduation, for NBCRNA

Upon hire, Pennsylvania RN license

Preferred experience:

Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care experience as a RN or CRNA

Willing to review Adult Cardiac Intensive Care experience

Personality:

Must be tough, thick skin; extremely tough clinical environment, and will have high expectations.
