  • North Atlanta suburb (north of Marietta, GA) The client is outside the Atlanta metro area, but they have employees who live in Marietta, Alpharetta, and Kennesaw who work for them.



ABAP programmer with minimal travel required. In this role, you will manage design, development, and implementation of ABAP related projects in conjunction with the implementation of various SAPscript and SMARTFORMS outputs, as well as various bar-code label formats generated within SAP. This will involve utilizing both individual and team meetings as well as other tools that Piolax has in place.


Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Manage design, development, and implementation of ABAP projects.

  • Review and revise technical designs to meet ABAP project requirements.

  • Recommend process improvements to achieve project goals.

  • Provide technical and functional guidance to other departments.

  • Provide high quality customer support throughout the project.

  • Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with functional owners and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of Piolax Corporation.

  • Assist in unit testing of ABAP programs.

  • Review program code and correct ABAP program errors.

  • Maintain and update existing program codes as needed.

  • Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned project.

  • Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards.

  • Develop/maintain various SAPscript and SMARTFORMS outputs.

  • Develop/maintain various bar-code label formats generated via SAP.




Who Will Be a Great Fit?

  • 5 years of extensive experience in ABAP programming and SAP within various modules.

  • You must have good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to carry out daily functions effectively.

  • You should have a good working knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, PP, SD, and WM.

  • You should have a good working knowledge of SAPscript and SMARTFORMS.

  • In order to communicate with end-users and other developers, you must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal abilities.

  • You must have the capability to work well in a team-based environment as well as on your own since your day to day operation will cover both scenarios.

  • With a sister plant in Mexico, speaking Spanish is a plus.
