This client hospital is a Not For Profit Hospital in need of multiple Registered Nurses, various shifts. Staff Nurse needed for the Oncology unit.Admissions, discharges, assessments, administer blood and blood products, IV’s, trach care, dressing changes, oxygen, administer medications, patient education, G- tubes, G-Tube/PEG feeding, NG, Tubes, Catheters, pulse oximetry, etc. Pre and post-op,Strong grasp of the psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Monitoring and managing the side effects of Chemotherapy.Patient and family education.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?

  • 1+ year of current nursing experience in an Oncology unit

  • Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or Compact state) required

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing

  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills to explain treatments and conditions

  • Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
