This client hospital is a 330 Bed Not For Profit Hospital in need of multiple Registered Nurses, various shifts. Staff Nurse needed for a 15 bed ICU expanding to 16 beds. Nurse to Patient Ratio 1:2.
Assessments, admissions, discharges, dressing changes, infusion pumps, start IV’s,maintain heparin drip, administer blood and blood products, chest tubes removal, trach care, drainage tubes,administer oxygen-(nasal canula, mask,endotracheal) catheters, G-Tubes, NG Tubes, assist with insertion of Central Lines, ABG’s,etc. COPD, MI’s, multi-system failure, respiratory failure, CHF, ARDS, Post Surgery, Pneumonia, Acute GI Bleeds, etc

Who Will Be a Great Fit?
1+ year of current nursing experience in an ICU
Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or Compact state) required
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills to explain treatments and conditions
Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
