Our client, a global leader in the full life-cycle development of mission critical defense systems seeks a hands-on hardware engineering leader. You will have proven knowledge of the complete DO-254 process - from initial document creation, through certification. 

  • Full life-cycle development of electronic hardware and getting the systems through the DO-254 certification process (C/D compliance).

  • Embedded systems, analog, digital, RF and electro-optics hardware.

  • Schematic capture. Modeling & simulation.

  • Plan and guide the development and implementation of engineering solutions, including, deployment, resource requirements, testing, documentation, integration, compliance and safety.



Who Will Be a Great Fit?

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering

  • Proven hands-on engineer in the full lifecycle development of electronic hardware and getting the systems through the DO-254 certification process (C/D compliance). 

  • Broad technical knowledge of embedded systems, analog, digital, RF and electro-optics hardware. 

  • Schematic capture. Modeling & simulation

  • Ability to plan and guide the development and implementation of engineering solutions, including, deployment, resource requirements, testing, documentation, integration, compliance and safety.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance.

  • A stable record of direct employment

  • MATLAB. SPICE. FPGAs. 

  • Embedded systems programming. C, C++, VHDL. 

  • Business development, proposals. DO-178. 

  • Designated Engineering Representative (DER) certification
