About the Client:

Client is a large, rapidly growing multinational which designs and manufactures innovative electronics sold around the world. Their software is world class and so are their developers.  If you enjoy application of object oriented patterns for the design of concurrent and networked software components, the architecture, design, and development of object oriented C++ for such applications, and can create, review, and maintain  succinct design documentation in a professional workplace, this might be for you.  
  

  • Salary in the $100,000 range
  • Comprehensive Benefit and Retirement Programs. 
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • Client will consider a non-local candidate only if they have very strong ties to the position location and are committed to moving. They will also help with relocation. 
  • This is direct hire role.

 


Location:  Vancouver, BC
 

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
 

5 years of experience in a professional, commercial software environment with strong C++ design and programming ability and familiarity with both  C++ v11 & C++ v14.   You enjoy designing and implementing concurrent, networked, and high data throughput systems with an understanding of modern memory, storage, I/O bus, processor, operating system, networking, and database architectures, familiarity with x86 assembly language, SIMD, and low level debugging and code optimization - hopefully in both Windows and Linux environments.   You know how to play nice with people and you probably like the fact that your software is going out into the real world in a company that's going to be around for years to come.
