Physical Therapist – Home Health Care

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Consultation: Engage with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms comprehensively.

  • Movement Dysfunction Diagnosis: Utilize your expertise to diagnose issues and devise a tailored treatment plan.

  • Therapeutic Exercise Oversight: Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, ensuring correct technique for optimal recovery.

  • Healing Stimulation: Employ massage or other stimulation techniques to facilitate patient healing.

  • Equipment Assistance: Aid patients in utilizing mobility-enhancing equipment like wheelchairs and walkers.

  • Record Maintenance: Diligently maintain patient records, monitoring goals and tracking progress.

  • Home Treatment Advising: Educate patients and their families on home treatment strategies and exercises to support recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.

  • Licensure: Valid in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a preference for candidates with home health experience.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional caring and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
