Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
Responsible for:
-Delivery of safe patient care throughout the continuum of the perioperative time period: Preoperative, Intraoperative and Postoperative phases.
-Directs functions of the Sterile Processing department: Sterility Assurance and High-Level Disinfection
-Operational budget
-Capital budget
-Daily staffing, assignments and call-coverage
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nebraska
Baccalaureate degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN), or, Master's degree in Nursing preferred. If no BSN, then must achieve within three years of hire.
Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) preferred. If no CNOR, then pursues certification based on verified clinical experience in the operating room.
Four years clinical experience, preferably in operating room nursing
Two years management experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) validation required
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) validation required.
