Our client, a global leader in the full life-cycle development of mission critical defense systems, seeks skilled systems engineers. You will research, engineer, architect, design, analyze, and integrate airborne mobile satellite and-or air to ground RF communication systems with frequencies from UHF (200MHz) to Ka-band (30 GHz).
  

  • Research, engineer, architect, design, analyze, and integrate airborne mobile satellite and-or air to ground RF communication systems with frequencies from UHF (200MHz) to Ka-band (30 GHz).

  • Architecture, requirements, and design of mobile satellite and-or RF ground radio communication systems.

  • System integration and testing.

  • Datalink design, integration, and flight test.

  • Antenna parameters analysis. RF systems analysis. Noise analysis.

  • Modulation - demodulation signal analysis. FEC coding. PHY and link layer design analysis.


Who Will Be a Great Fit?

  • BS degree in an engineering subject

  • 3+ years of directly applicable professional engineering experience.

  • Current and/or recent military/DoD datalink experience.

  • Post academic industry experience in the architecture, requirements, and design of mobile satellite and-or RF ground radio communication systems. 

  • System integration and testing. Spectrum analyzer. 

  • Vector network analyzer. MATLAB. 

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

  • Technical leadership.

  • Sub-contractor technical management. 

  • Datalink design, integration, and flight test. 

  • Common Data Link (CDL) Interface. Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL). 

  • Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS). Line-of-Sight (LOS). Antenna pointing and tracking systems.

  • Antenna parameters analysis. RF systems analysis. Noise analysis.

  • Link budgets. Gain budgets.

  • Modulation - demodulation signal analysis. FEC coding. PHY and link layer design analysis.
