Sr SAP Analyst (QM, MM,PP)
Wilton, CT
$125,000 ++

​The ideal candidate will be working permanently in a Techno-functional role supporting the QM module of SAP while interacting with MM and PP modules. Must have good communication / written skills and be looking to join a growing company in a support role as one of the founding members of our internal SAP team. Must be technically strong for future Phase development and acquisitions down the road. 


The SAP Sr. QM Analyst is responsible for supporting the business process. This includes the design and implementation of QM business solutions in the SAP system and day to day operational support. Further to the primary support duties the person will implement SAP upgrades, interfaces to external systems, and review and analyze industry solutions and tools to support the business.


  • Work closely with business members to facilitate effective development.
  • Provide SAP demonstrations to end users to validate design and support of systems changes.
  • Provide production support for SAP QM, interfacing with FI/CO, SD, MM and other SAP application modules.
  • Manage projects assigned through the full project lifecycle including managing and coordinating the work of consultants when necessary.
  • Proactively participate in the integration between related SAP functions with other IT Business Analysts
  • Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyze, configure and model processes in SAP.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Configuration and documentation of new design.
  • Modifying, testing and validating system configuration.
  • Build and execute unit testing, integration and regression testing (build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results).
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, communication and interaction between various functional organizations and the Information Technology department.
  • Develop and administer user support documentation and provide training and coaching to end-users.
  • Document and control all changes made to productions systems via change control process.


SAP QM & ECC 6.0 


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the QM area with development and support of business application systems including analysis, functional and technical design testing. Practical experience in implementing using and supporting Finance process is required.
  • Two or more full project life cycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training and post implementation support.
  • Understanding and use of SDLC methodology good practice.
  • Cross-functional business experience is a must.
  • Exposure to Trade Promotion Management, Warehouse Mgt and Demand Planning applications desired.
  • Experience integrating with BPC and BW a plus.
  • Experience working for a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
  • Analytical Ability: superior analytical skills to evaluate new business requirements, issues, think through complex, multidimensional problems and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Highly Collaborative: highly accountable and naturally works well with the team to seek innovative solutions and can identify, design and configure the system to meet the company's Accounting and Financial users' business requirements
  • Multi-Task: ability to work on a number of deadline driven projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail Oriented: keen attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivated: able to thrive in a fast paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills to interface with business customers on a daily basis as well as related to project work
  • Good presentation skills to articulate ideas, options and solutions to business and IT team
  • Demonstrated ability to work in (virtual) teams to provide support and business solutions
  • Strong presentation skills with experience conducting workshops to facilitate continuous improvement in the implemented design and training.
  • Travel up to 25% - varies based on project requirements
