SAP FI/CO Configurator
Binghamton/ Elmira, NY


This position will report to the CFO and will be responsible for the configuration and support of SAP Finance application modules.   Day to day responsibilities include configuration, troubleshooting, change management and monitoring.

  • Working closely with the Finance team to understand current system settings and structure.
  • Defining functional processes and requirements for the implementation of new or additional functionalities            in the SAP Finance application modules.
  • Document and conduct end-user training
  • Maintain knowledge of business processes to support the processes effectively.
  • Working with Finance subject matter experts and the SAP development team to develop thorough SAP                application and integration test scripts and expected results.
  • Testing SAP FI/CO application functionality and managing the FI/CO test plans.
  • Troubleshooting SAP system technical and functional issues and coordinating issue resolution with                      development, technical and operations teams.
  • Operating as the liaison between Finance and IT for functional requirement requests and for managing
  • the bug fix requests process from SAP
  • Self-starter capable of driving requirements-gathering sessions and managing issue resolution
  • Small team management and supervisory skills are necessary
  • The individual will be proficient or knowledgeable in all skills listed below:
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Configuration experience with other SAP modules including MM, PP, and/or SD
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff at all levels within the organization.
