Windows Administrator - MCSE

The Windows Administrators role is to design, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize company servers and related components to achieve the company's goals. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment. The Administrator will work with and/or provide support to other System Administrators as well as Helpdesk Technicians. When required work with Project managers in the support of projects and IT initiatives. Where applicable, the Server Administrator will assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange 2003 and 2007. 2010 a plus. Clustering, OWA, Database Maintenance
  • Knowledge of SQL 2005 and 2008.
  • Good general knowledge of Microsoft Server Applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7.
  • MCSE preferred.
