Business Analyst - Distribution JDE
King of Prussia, PA

Candidate will be working with users through this manufacturing / distribution facility to help them in customizing their applications that center around Distribution and Warehouse Management, such as WMS - Warehouse Management Systems; YMS -  Yard Management Systems, TMS - Transportation Management Systems, etc.

Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations and Transportation experts who have worked in implementing an ERP System or has managed and implementation of an ERP System could fit this role very well.  But the ERP System has to be JDEdwards OneWorld or Oracle’s EnterpriseOne or E1 product

  • Will work with users throughout the DC Distribution Centers and WarehousesSet up passwords/permissions
  • Set up user groups/access
  • Work with users (Warehouse workers, Logistics workers, supply Chain professionals, etc.) in helping them to understands how the ERP System is going to benefit themGather requirements, assess needs, prepare documentation for techies, etc.
  • Work on creating new reports/forms to users specifications
  • Then implement those needs, and train the users on them
  • Local travel approx 30%

Candidate needs:

  • 5+ years in a business analyst role support the Warehouse / Transportation users
  • 3+ years (current) working with JDEdwards OneWorld / Oracle EnterpriseOne E1 ERP System
  • Knowledge of application such as Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory, SOM – Sales Order Management, etc.Experience with other WMS (Red Prairie, High-Jump, PkMS – Manhattan Associates, etc.) in addition to JDE is helpful
  • BS/MBA a plus
  • PMP a plus

(client is not just looking for an IT Candidate - Someone who has been in one of the following or similar role would fit the position: Supply Chain manager, Logistics Manager, Operations Manager, Transportation Manager, etc. who has been responsible for implementing JDE ERP system could be a very good fit for this position as well)
