Business Analyst - Functional / Financial

Financial Systems Group position.
This new BA position is part of the Financial Systems Group which is responsible for the direction and support of PeopleSoft Financials. This is a functional not a technical position.
The group works with Finance to help the user community leverage functionality to improve processes and reduce manual intervention. In addition, the group works closely with IT to deliver functional design specifications from the users where changes will enhance the user experience. This is a foot in the door position; the candidate will be expected to grow into more senior level responsibilities.
- Knowledge of at least two of the following modules: GL, AP, EX, AM
- Expert knowledge in configuration and applicable tables
- Ability to gather requirements and write functional design documents for Technical development
- nVision and Query exposure
- Advanced Excel skills (
use of functions, etc)
- Multicurrency background
- Consolidation
- Equitization
- SQL
- Consulting background
- Accounting/Finance degree
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct training sessions
- Nice to have knowledge of BI, AR, PC, CM
